Ambulatory transportation is the most common form of Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT). It is designed for patients who can walk on their own, or with a mobility aid like a cane or walker, but who cannot safely or reliably drive themselves to medical appointments. The patient walks into and out of a standard passenger vehicle — no lift or stretcher required.
This service is fundamentally different from a taxi or rideshare. Pak Medical Transportation Services is a professional NEMT provider — our drivers are trained in patient assistance, medical transport protocols, and punctual scheduling. We are held to standards of accountability that rideshare drivers simply are not.
